Cheesy Noodles and Vegetables

Fill a colorful casserole dish with Reames® Homestyle Egg Noodles noodles and fresh vegetables for this tasty weeknight meal topped with a cheesy garlic sauce.

Serves  4-6





Step One:

Preheat oven to 350° F. Cook noodles according to package directions, adding frozen vegetables to pan with noodles the last 5 minutes of cooking. Cook noodles and vegetables until noodles are done and vegetables are tender. Drain well and set aside.

Step Two:

In large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Cook garlic in melted butter for 30 seconds. Stir in flour and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is smooth.

Step Three:

Gradually stir in milk and heat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook 2 minutes. Stir in mustard and cheddar cheese until smooth. Gently add noodles and vegetables into cheese sauce.

Step Four:

Pour mixture in a 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese and crushed croutons.

Step Five:

Bake uncovered 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly.
